[ ABOUT THE JOB ]
As a managing consultant responsible for the data strategy area, you collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders of our clients to understand business needs and elaborate data driven business strategies.
This role offers you the opportunity to actively participate in turning these strategies into programs, projects and finally working solutions at our clients. You key a pivotal role in this process managing the whole engagement end-to-end and acting as the SME for data strategy.
[ Minimum qualifications ]
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Computer Science
- At least 5 years of working experience as a data architect, solution architect of data/analytics applications or as a strategy consultant focusing on data and analytics driven strategies
- Good understanding of economic situations, business cases and main business processes of an enterprise
- Proven hands-on knowledge of data processing, data management, data analysis and understanding of main concepts of artificial intelligence. At least 5 years of experience applying these skills in client-facing projects.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools
- Analytical, technical, problem solving, and communication skills are a key strength
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German or French is a plus
- You are not afraid of coding and understand both the thinking of subject matter experts of various business areas and data scientists deeply involved in solving mathematical problems
[ Preferred qualifications ]
- Proven track record in management consulting
- Proven track record in project/program management of analytics projects with budgets above CHF 500k
- Proven track record of establishing data management frameworks focusing on data governance and data quality
- General understanding of modern analytics tools and technologies
- Ability to draw conclusions from data and to recommend actions
- Experience with working in project environments using agile methodology
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction.

[ ABOUT THE JOB ]
At DAI group, data drives all of our decision-making. Using analytical methods, we mine through data to identify opportunities for our client to operate more efficiently. Your area of application vary from e.g. solving context related problems with neural networks to optimization of models for customer behaviour with genetic algorithms or reinforcement learning. You will deal with a large volume of structured and unstructured data to store, cleanse and train. As a data scientist, you will support the project insights gained from analysing company data. You must have good experience using a variety of data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, helping building and implementing models. You need to have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
[ Minimum qualifications ]
- Master or PhD degree in computer science, physics, applied mathematics or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with machine and deep learning systems, statistical data analysis (e.g. linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, sampling methods, etc.)
- Experience in programming in one or more of the following: Python, R, C/C++ or Scala
- Robust knowledge on Database structures (Oracle, MS SQL)
- Experience deriving data-driven business insights and effectively communicating actionable recommendations to senior management
- We are looking for team players with high ethical standards who are willing and able to learn and apply new technologies
[ Preferred qualifications ]
- Demonstrated experience with one or more machine learning frameworks: Tensorflow, Keras, Theano, Scikit, etc.
- Experience with machine learning on large datasets
- Ability to draw conclusions from data and to recommend actions
- Familiar with context analysis, NLP and word embeddings
- Robust knowledge on database structures, data modeling and SQL
- Expertise on building Analytics in the cloud (AWS or Azure experience preferred)
- Experience with working in project environments using agile methodology
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction.
